E-Commerce Sales Specialist

Our E-Commerce team is expanding! The E-Commerce Sales Specialist is responsible for sales growth and marketing support for all assigned eCommerce dealers.  The individual will help with all areas of JPW’s e-commerce business including Account Management (driving sales targets, dealer visits, channel support, resolving technical issues, etc.) and Marketing initiatives including (eCommerce JPW branding strategy, lead generation, new product launches, social media engagement, etc.)  Helps support the expansion and distribution of products into new and existing accounts while growing sales and profits. Will have responsibility for financial profitability of each account.

WHAT YOU WILL DO. Plan. Manage. Secure.

  • Develop and drive eCommerce strategy for sales organization, providing technical eCommerce sales support and expertise to both the JPW sales team and distributor network
  • Co-manage and support outside sales organization with growing e-commerce distribution in assigned territory, ensuring continued sales and profit growth.   
  • Ability to travel to dealers up to 20% of the time to support account management activity
  • Technical eCommerce sales support and expertise to both the JPW Sales Team and Distributor Network
  • Handle Warranty Claims, working on solutions with JPW’s Technical/Quality team
  • Ensure all customer specific order processing, shipping, and product handling requirements are met
  • Develop product assortments and proposals for distributors
  • Track sales and forecasts to hit established sales plan targets
  • Execution of corporate initiatives including dealer programs, promotions, and new product launches
  • Work with corporate product management team on forecasting, dealer programs, promotions, end-user and distributor feedback
  • Provide market feedback to other corporate divisions as it pertains to competition, products, and specific account events
  • Provide monthly reports tracking sales results and activity
  • Participation in regional and national tradeshows on occasion

WHAT YOU WILL NEED. Energy. Initiative. Urgency. 

  • Bachelor's in Marketing, Business, or related, highly preferred
  • Minimum 3 years’ sales experience in eCommerce sales or support, preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office, required and SAP ERP, preferred
  • Exceptional relationship management and account management skills required; strong negotiating skills and escalation management are critical 
  • High degree of competency with project management, including issues and risk identification and management, tracking; demonstrated strong attention to detail
  • Highly analytical self-starter who can prioritize, manage multiple projects, and resolve complex problems without a lot of oversight
  • Strategic planner with tenacity and tactical approach to execute
  • Effective communication and presentation skills interfacing with multiple peer groups and all levels of management on a formal, informal, written and verbal basis
  • Positive attitude, reliable, transparent and enjoy working with different types of people. 
  • Collaborate with various team members and be a first-class influencer to inspire, motivate and lead cross-functional teams to achieve outstanding results
