Electrical Engineer

We are actively seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to research, plan, design, develop, analyze and test a variety of electronic equipment and components, including displays, sensors, processors, interface units and other electronic devices; circuitry components; and control and test equipment to develop or improve products. The Electrical Engineer may participate in all stages of development from design through manufacturing support and integration.


  • Design, maintain, implement, or improve electrical instruments, components, or products.
  • Evaluate electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs, applying knowledge of electricity and materials.
  • Confirm a components’ capabilities by designing testing methods and testing properties.
  • Develop processes by designing and modifying equipment for building and assembling electrical components obtaining input through observations from operators.
  • Assure product quality by designing electrical testing methods and testing finished products and capabilities.
  • Prepare product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Provide information to questions and requests, write reports and compile data regarding existing and potential electrical engineering projects and studies.
  • Ensure conformity to standards, specifications, codes or product requirements by preparing electrical systems specifications or technical drawings, and direct or coordinate installation, manufacturing, maintenance, documentation, support, and/or testing activities.
  • Perform range of engineering tasks by operating computer-assisted design or engineering software and equipment.

  • Additional responsibilities and projects as may be assigned relevant to the position.


  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field from an accredited four-year university, required
  • 5+ years' electrical engineering experience 
  • Knowledge of applicable codes related to electronic engineering
  • Proficient in design and calculation software
  • Troubleshooting and testing experience
  • Understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with MS Project, SolidWorks, and SAP a plus
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Experience with developing project budgets and supporting capital expenditure activities 
  • Self-driven with a desire to grow professionally
  • Able to maintain a strong team dynamic, has good organizational skills, works well under pressure, has a positive attitude, and is able to direct and meet deadlines
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience working with a diverse mix of domestic and international suppliers a plus
  • Able to troubleshoot problems quickly and thoroughly, and maintain the ability to be tactful in all situations
  • Limited domestic and global travel growing with increased responsibility
